Chief School Business Official (CSBO)

I am very excited to join Itasca 10 as the district’s new Chief School Business Official. This is my 18th year as a CSBO, and I truly love the work. My experience has primarily been in elementary school districts, where I have had the opportunity to support financial planning, budgeting, restructuring efforts, and construction planning, including work connected to new school buildings and a capital referendum. I enjoy the community service aspect of school business management and take pride in helping ensure that district resources are aligned to the needs of students, staff, and the broader school community.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and a Master’s degree in School Business Management, and I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree. What excites me most about joining Itasca 10 is the opportunity to become part of a school community with such a rich history of excellence. I am especially looking forward to the close-knit environment and the opportunity to focus deeply on continuing that tradition of excellence.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy reading both physical books and audiobooks, traveling, and exploring Chicago, especially in the summer. My favorite travel destinations include some combination of water, beaches, and mountain views. I also enjoy trying different cuisines and am always happy to find a great new sushi restaurant.
